Toolworks offers a wide range of services tailored specifically to help individuals with developmental disabilities participate fully in their communities. We have services to support individuals in living independently, volunteering and learning new skills, and to becoming employed. Toolworks has a long-standing commitment to serving individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, and we have staff in all of our programs who are deaf or fluent in American Sign Language.

All of Toolworks services for individuals with developmental disabilities are provided in accordance with Title 17 and maintain CARF accreditation.

Our janitors are reliable and invested, and we take the time to train them right.

Toolworks operates a 10-week janitorial training program which has been recognized for its achievements by the City of San Francisco. This program provides Toolworks with qualified janitors while increasing employment opportunities for graduates.

In addition to our training program, we regularly conduct onsite trainings in order to maintain the highest quality service. Topics include:

•   customer service
•   recycling and composting
•   hard floors, carpet, and restrooms
•   quality assurance

Our thorough training methods ensure the most up-to-date methods in the industry are applied to all of our facilities. Our crews ensure that we have the most satisfied customers.

Toolworks operates throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Our janitorial workforce of over 120 uniformed employees provides service to millions of square feet of commercial Class A, B, and C buildings as well as governmental, state and city facilities.

We specialize in historic buildings, as well as high traffic areas, indoor/outdoor, commercial and military maritime vessels, high security facilities, and post-construction commercial cleanup.
